Dato’ Sri Jessy Lai and PPPM WP KL Holds Meeting In Preparation for Launch of PPPM WP Kuala Lumpur Office
Founder and Group CEO of MONSPACE Dato’ Sri Jessy Lai, recently appointed Chairperson of the Association for Consumer Protection Malaysia WP Kuala Lumpur branch (PPPM WP KL) and Chairperson of PPPM’s Womens Bureau, has attended a PPPM WP KL committee meeting on 5 December 2017 at The Earth, Bukit Jalil.
Founded in 2009, PPPM is a non-government organisation open to all Malaysians above the age of 18. Its purpose is to protect Malaysian consumers, listen to their complaints, assist the government in monitoring the markets, and act as the bridge between consumers and the government. It has branches across Malaysia, in Perak, Johor, Selangor, and Pahang.
The purpose of the meeting on 5 December was to prepare for the launch of PPPM WP KL’s office, which is scheduled to happen on 17 December 2017.
“PPPM has always stood at the forefront when it comes to protecting consumer rights in Malaysia. Since Kuala Lumpur is one of the biggest business hubs of the nation, the diligent preservation of consumer rights is especially important. We are very glad to launch the local office in service of all who reside in Kuala Lumpur,” said Lai.
Others who were present at the meeting include Tan Sri Mohd Bakri Zinin, the advisor of PPPM Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, and other committee members of PPPM Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur.
